Adobe Firefly Review
Adobe 面向 enterprises的 AI 内容合规审核能力,多语言敏感信息一键过滤
In-depth Report
-
Adobe Fire Eye Audit is a collection of AI content compliance audit capabilities created by Adobe for enterprise customers. It is positioned as a content security base for "one-click filtering of multi-language sensitive information". It is not a single shelf SKU, but a collective name for the content review, brand safety and copyright compliance capabilities that Adobe has accumulated in the two product lines of Firefly generative AI and Acrobat document AI. It is included by Daily Product Express under the name "Adobe Fire Eye Review". Its core value is to allow enterprises to use AI to automatically intercept and filter sensitive elements such as pornography, violence, political sensitivity, copyright infringement, etc. before they are generated or stored in large-scale UGC, marketing materials, intelligent document processing and other scenarios, and use Content Credentials (C2PA traceability signature) to label each piece of output content with a verifiable "life experience label".
-
As generative AI moves toward enterprise-level production, content security and compliance have become unavoidable hard constraints. Adobe has written "Commercially Safe" into Firefly's architectural DNA from the first day: 100% of the training data comes from authorized Adobe Stock and public domain materials, avoiding copyright risks from the source. On this basis, Adobe has gradually standardized the audit capabilities dispersed in various products - Firefly's image/video security filter, Acrobat AI Assistant's text content filter (based on Microsoft Azure OpenAI content filtering service), and C2PA content certificates across the entire line, which together constitute the "Fire Eye Audit" capabilities available to enterprises. For highly regulated industries such as finance, government, enterprises, and media, this set of capabilities means that "AI generation + automatic compliance" can be implemented in a closed loop, rather than just talking about Responsible AI on PPT.
-
FireEye audit focuses on the identification and filtering of four types of sensitive dimensions. One is pornographic and adult content (NSFW). Firefly uses the "Safe by Design" approach to force NSFW filtering. Industry statistics show that it can block about 95% of harmful prompt words and 97% of violent content prompts. The second is violence and self-harm content. Acrobat AI Assistant uses the Azure OpenAI content filtering service to perform semantic-level discrimination on hate, pornography, violence, and self-harm text, and medium- and high-risk output is not returned directly. The third is politically sensitive and public figures. Firefly’s prompt pre-screen will refuse to generate recognizable portraits of celebrities and political figures. The fourth is copyright infringement elements. The Firefly Content Moderation (FCM) v4 model can automatically filter specific logos and portraits, and cooperates with Adobe's self-developed "Compliance Training Data Labeling System (CTTS)" to ensure that the model output does not plagiarize third-party copyrights.
-
The ability of FireEye audit is completed by the collaboration of multiple models and strategy layers at the bottom level. A typical Firefly generation pipeline includes: prompt word encoding → security and bias filtering layer (scanning for illegal content or copyrighted public figure requests) → latent space diffusion generation → reference image style alignment → upsampling decoding → C2PA metadata embedding. The security filtering layer is the "front gate", and illegal requests are blocked by Policy Violation errors before they are generated. On the Acrobat side, two layers of protection are used: first, the Azure OpenAI content filtering service is used for semantic discrimination (configured to filter medium/high-risk output, but not input), and then Adobe's own block list is superimposed to filter hate and swear words. The answer is returned only after both layers pass. When developers access the Firefly Services API, they also need to configure OAuth Server-to-Server credentials in the Adobe Developer Console and apply for API quotas. Enterprise administrators can approve and control in the Admin Console.
-
"One-click filtering of multi-language sensitive information" is an important selling point that distinguishes Huoyan Audit from pure English auditors. Firefly's audio and video translation capabilities can automatically translate videos into more than 20 languages while maintaining the original speaker's voice, intonation, and rhythm. This multi-language pipeline naturally requires supporting sensitive words and compliance policies to cover multiple languages. Acrobat AI Assistant performs end-to-end content filtering on uploaded documents, submission prompts, and generated responses in enterprise document scenarios, regardless of whether the document itself is in Chinese, English, or other languages. It is worth emphasizing that Adobe will not use customer content to train or fine-tune large models by default. Uploaded documents, prompts, and responses are only retained in the cloud for 12 hours and then automatically deleted (except for conversation history actively saved by users), which reduces the exposure to cross-language compliance from the data residency level.
-
Compliance is the hardest moat for FireEye audit. Each image trained by Firefly is embedded with an invisible SynthID watermark and is cryptographically signed with Content Credentials (C2PA) to prove "this image was generated by AI and by whom." As of statistics in 2026, Firefly's commercial security compliance rate is approximately 99.5%, with zero copyright infringement lawsuits to date, and 100% compliance with the high-risk classification requirements of the EU AI Act. Acrobat AI Assistant meets industry regulations such as GDPR, POPIA, HIPAA and more through SHA-256 encryption (in transit and at rest), Azure OpenAI’s contract isolation (third-party LLMs are prohibited from manually reviewing or training customer data), and 12-hour automatic data purge. For enterprises, this means that the three-piece set of "commercial security + traceability + no touching of customer data" can be obtained at once instead of being assembled separately.
-
FireEye audit capabilities are delivered through two enterprise pathways. For marketing and design teams, Firefly for Teams/Firefly Enterprise provides team and enterprise subscriptions, which are billed by generating credits. The enterprise level also includes Brand Intelligence (brand rule verification), Custom Models (fine-tuning based on the company's own assets) and Firefly Creative Production (mass asset production). For developers, the Firefly Services API provides the ability to generate and review images, videos, vectors, etc., but it requires "contact sales" to sign an enterprise contract, and there is no self-service pay-per-volume pricing. Developers need to create a project in the Adobe Developer Console, configure OAuth credentials and apply for quotas, and then call it through Node.js / Python SDK. The overall pricing threshold is high - community feedback shows that the monthly 50,000 points bucket for advanced tasks (4K video, style migration, etc.) is consumed quickly, and small teams are often pushed to Premium plans or custom contracts of around $199/month.
-
Fire Eye audit is most suitable for three types of enterprise scenarios. First, large-scale UGC and social media content review: after users upload images, texts/videos, the platform uses FCM and NSFW filters to filter out illegal materials with one click. Second, pre-compliance of marketing materials: When brands batch-generate campaign images and short videos in Firefly, the security layer automatically avoids infringing portraits and prohibited content, and Brand Intelligence verifies whether they comply with brand standards. Third, document intelligence governance: When Acrobat AI Assistant does Q&A and summaries on corporate contracts, reimbursements, and legal documents, sensitive information filtering and 12-hour data clearing meet the compliance red lines of highly regulated industries such as finance and medical care.
-
Compared with open source/open models such as Midjourney and Stable Diffusion, the core difference of FireEye Audit (Firefly System) is "making compliance into factory settings": while others rely on post-coding and filtering plug-ins, Adobe incorporates NSFW filtering, copyright isolation, and C2PA signatures into the first kilometer of the generation pipeline, and provides enterprises with IP infringement compensation (indemnification). The trade-off is limited creative freedom—aggressive security filters sometimes kill good creative cues, and high-resolution upscaling is slower than native SD deployment. Compared with pure auditing middleware such as Microsoft Azure AI Content Safety and Google Vertex AI's auditing API, Adobe's advantage lies in its native integration of auditing, creation, and document processing. Its disadvantage is that the auditing capability is not sold separately and must be bound to a Creative Cloud/Acrobat enterprise subscription and sales contract. The access cost for small and medium-sized teams is relatively high.
-
It needs to be stated truthfully: There is no independent product literally named "Fire Eye Review" in Adobe's official product matrix. "Adobe Fire Eye Audit" is Daily Product Express's summary name for Adobe's enterprise-level AI content compliance and audit capability set. Its real capabilities are scattered among Firefly security filtering layer, Firefly Content Moderation (FCM) v4, Acrobat AI Assistant content filtering, Content Credentials (C2PA) traceability and Policy Guardrails. The parameters and capability descriptions in this report are based on Adobe's official documents, Trust Center white papers and public statistics. For unconfirmed single "FireEye Audit" product pricing and independent SKUs, please refer to Adobe's official release.
